Adobe Holiday Greeting Slide-Puzzle AIR App!

Posted On: Fri, 12/19/2008 - 20:58 by charles

For the past few years, Adobe has helped us celebrate the holiday season by bringing us Flash Holiday Card Creators (2006 & 2007). This year, though, brings something new...a Holiday Greeting Slide-Puzzle AIR App!

This app not only makes the traditional holiday greeting a little more interactive, but it also supports Adobe's global sustainability goals by helping eliminate printed greeting cards. Install it, try solving it, and share it with your friends using your own picture!

Happy Holidays!

Posted On: Sat, 10/20/2007 - 04:00 by charles

The project formerly known as "Project San Dimas" is all grown up now is now officially called "eBay Desktop".

Looks like we did something right. The project has even moved from it's old domain, www.projectsandimas.com to it's own website as a subdomain of eBay! You can now download Project San Dimas eBay Desktop from http://desktop.ebay.com! Take 'er for a spin and give Alan Lewis (eBay PM for the project) some feedback.

Just Finished the Tour

Posted On: Fri, 11/17/2006 - 18:26 by charles

I just got back home from my trip doing the Tech Talk Tour and we've had some really great events! The tour was a big success and I'd like to thank everyone who attended and especially those who helped out on campus.

Anyways, for those who are interested, I'll be posting my demo code from the presentation as my next blog post, probably entitled something like, "Flickr Photo Viewer Demo"*. My slide deck though, is posted below (I've only posted one copy, since they were mostly the same for each university). As for my visit to the Vancouver Flash User Group, I used a different presentation and demo which is actually the basis for my "States Tutorial", so look out for that in a week or two. So if anyone had questions or feedback, feel free to let me know :)

Thanks again to everyone who participated and hopefully there'll be more to come!
